Where do I go to get my engine and gearbox checked?
Arrangements for the checking of the first engine & gearbox should be made direct with TBR Racing Tel: 07834 838536
It is the responsibility of competitors to check the legality of their engines prior to the inspection by TBR Racing. Any engine or gearbox which fails to comply and which has to be taken away and re-presented for inspection will be charged for. If the engine is left with TBR for TBR to fix at the competitor's cost there will be no charge for re-inspection and sealing.
The engine should not have any hoses or wiring loom attached and should have the cylinder head either loosely fitted or separate from the engine. The flywheel and clutch should either be separate from or be loosely attached to the engine.
All engine components must be presented at the same time, complete with crank sensor and bracket, exhaust manifold and induction system.
