Started racing with the 750 Motor Club in 1981 in an MG Midget modsports car. Changed to a Turner and raced both in modsports and Roadsports until 1989. |

I also serve on the MSA (Motor Sports Association) Championship Control Panel, am Chairman of the MSA Race Committee, a member of the MSA Council, am a non-executive Director of the MSA and was the founding Chairman of the ABMRC (Association of British Motor Racing Clubs). |
| Favourite circuit and why |
Probably Mallory Park. About the best spectating circuit in the UK, easy to run a meeting, very friendly circuit staff and the first circuit I raced on. |
| Best Meeting you have worked at and why |
It is always the club’s Birkett Relay race, held every year at the end of the season. The atmosphere is so friendly and relaxed, it’s the perfect way to end the year. |
