I started marshalling in 1990 as a flaggie for HSCC, joined the Marshals club in 1992 and Marshalled for any club that raced at Donington and Mallory if nothing was on at Donington. I've been Clerking for the 750MC since 2003. Became Saxmax Web Site Administrator this year |

Favourite circuit and why |
Mallory. It's a friendly atmosphere (you don't get the quality abuse anywhere else like you do from the staff in the canteen, they give as good as they get) the circuit is visible from almost every post except the hairpin but you don't mind as the hairpin gets quite busy anyway. The Dubai Autodrome is incredible but is hampered by fencing right on the wall, no real safe way to get off if you stop away from a gap. |
Best Meeting you have worked at and why |
Too many to be able to pick out just one, although the German Touring Cars and World Touring Cars meetings at Donington were always very good. Eurocars going wrong direction around Mallory, brilliant! |

Gym (weights not cardio, that's before the comments start!) DIY (not an interest, more a necessity), Gardening (same as DIY). |
Why you just lurve Saxmax |
Surprisingly good car control for such inexperienced drivers. Not always put to good use to avoid incident though! |
